Highlands School was founded in 1958 by educator, civic leader, and philanthropist, Evalina Brown Spencer. And, every bit as important today as it was in the school’s founding years, our school’s culture embraces the living principle that children learn and grow best in a supportive, close-knit community, where each student is inspired and motivated by a successful and meaningful early education experience.
Highlands School is an independent school distinguished by our diverse community and a commitment to academic excellence, creative expression, and leadership development. We prepare and motivate students to thrive and make positive differences in a constantly-changing, global world.
